What will you do?

Document Controller plays a critical role in managing project documentation and ensuring compliance with industry standards. They are responsible for the effective administration of project-related documents, facilitating communication amongst stakeholders, and maintaining accurate records throughout the project lifecycle. Document Controllers ensure that all documentation is accessible, up-to-date, and complies with Aurecon's quality and regulatory requirement.

Documentation Management

  • Establish and maintain document control procedures aligned with project requirements and industry standards.

  • Receive, review, and distribute project documentation, ensuring all records are filed accurately and can be easily accessed.

  • Track and manage the version control of documents to ensure the latest information is available to project teams and stakeholders.

  • Prepare and maintain a comprehensive document register that logs all incoming and outgoing project documents.

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure adherence to Aurecon's quality management systems, including compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct regular audits of document control processes to identify and implement improvements.

  • Facilitate timely responses to requests for documentation from clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.


Communication and Coordination

  • Liaison with project managers, engineers, and other team members to gather and clarify documentation needs

  • Provide training and guidance to team members on document control processes and tools.

  • Support effective communication across the project team by ensuring that everyone has access to the necessary documentation for their tasks.

Technical Support

  • Utilise Aurecon's approved content management systems and collaboration platforms for document handling and sharing.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of digital tools and strategies for improved document management.

  • Stay informed about current trends in document control technologies and methodologies, recommending upgrades as necessary.

What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:

  • Relevant certification or diploma in Document Control or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Understanding of industry standards related to document control (e.g., ISO 9001).

  • Flexibility to adapt to location-specific demands and project requirements will be essential.

  • Relevant experience from a Design and Engineering Consultancy background
