The Opportunity
As a Document Controller, you will play a key role in supporting engineers, designers, and drafters by implementing robust document management practices throughout the entire project lifecycle. You will oversee the creation, review, revision, distribution, and secure access of technical documentation, ensuring full compliance with ACCIONA standards.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to maintain accuracy, traceability, and compliance, reporting directly to the Document Control Lead.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update document registers and numbering schemas
Apply consistent version control across all project documents
Issue documentation to internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner
Manage metadata, permissions, and file structures within CDE platforms
Develop and maintain work instructions, procedures, and workflow documentation
Provide training and guidance to project teams on document management processes
Build strong, effective relationships with internal teams and external partners
Required Skills and Competencies
2–3 years of experience in document control
Proficiency with Common Data Environment (CDE) systems
Strong understanding of document control standards and best practices
Demonstrated ability to write clear procedures and work instructions
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships
