Document Control Specialist, Sr.

India-New Delhi (Farris) Full time

With expert knowledge, oversees the Document Control (DC) policy system, working closely with engineering, program management, technical writing, DC implementation and configuration management staff to update engineering drawings and manufacturing data. Develops and presents DC training sessions. Research and makes recommendations for appropriate hardware and software required for the DC system.Creation and release of new products and product variants (Material, BOMs, Data Items.)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Establishes controls necessary to ensure that assigned, required data is compiled, prepared, reviewed, approved, published and submitted to or received from the customer in quality form, on time, and within budget. Achieves customer satisfaction by consistently prepping, scanning, inspecting, compiling, and assembling complex projects accurately in a timely manner while maintaining company standards. Assesses and identifies contractual data requirements specified in customer contracts. Coordinates the interaction between engineering, manufacturing, field operations, program management and marketing to ensure appropriate changes are documented and provide direction for the development of data. Ensures and verifies required data complies with contract specifications and internal company policies and procedures. Researches and makes recommendations for appropriate hardware and software required for DC systems.
