Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Document Control Manager to join our team. In this role, you will manage and oversee document control systems across planning, architectural, engineering, and authority-related submissions, ensuring efficient document management, compliance, and seamless information flow throughout the project lifecycle.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Manage document control systems for all planning, architectural, engineering, and authority-related submissions.
Ensure all documents are registered, tracked, issued, and archived in line with the standards.
Maintain structured filing systems for both digital and hardcopy records.
Monitor document workflows, review cycles, and approval status.
Ensure document numbering, revision control, and version tracking are consistently applied.
Coordinate issuance of documents to internal teams, consultants, and authorities.
Support authority submissions by managing document packages and maintaining accurate records.
Prepare document registers and reports on submission and approval status.
Audit document completeness, accuracy, and traceability.
Train project and consultant teams on document control processes and systems.
Ensure secure handling of confidential and sensitive information.
Maintain compliance with document retention and record management policies.
Coordinate with consultants and internal teams to enforce standard document control processes.
Monitor submission flows and address missing or incorrect documentation.
Escalate issues related to document compliance as required.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 12 years of experience in document control roles.
Strong expertise in document control systems and workflows.
Proven experience managing large volumes of technical and authority-related documentation.
Strong knowledge of document numbering systems, revision control, approvals, and archiving processes.
Ability to prepare document registers, dashboards, and audit reports.
Strong governance, compliance, and confidentiality management capabilities.
Proficiency in Document Management Systems such as Aconex, SharePoint, or equivalent.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word) and PDF tools.
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders.
