JOB SUMMARY

 

District Manager responsibilities include developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of customers in our Water Treatment business unit, providing expert technical support and customer satisfaction. The role is the primary contact point between DuBois and its diverse client base. District Managers liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Successfully manage customer accounts and insuring DuBois programs are effectively implemented and properly operating.

  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.

  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with customer accounts and customer.

  • Ability to manage complex accounts including high level contacts

  • Grow existing customer base of business through additional DuBois offerings

  • Manage mid to large size and complex accounts, with a territory sales volume of $3M to $5M.

  • Possess a high degree of technical knowledge for customer applications and DuBois product line and feed equipment

  • Collaboratively work with other teammates in effort to support a high degree of customer satisfaction.

  • Successfully complete the DuBois field training program.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

·       Possess strong communication skills for effective interaction with customer.

·       Demonstrated strength of strong selling skills.

·       Strong presentation skills.  Effectively lead and present Business Reviews to High Level positioned customers.

·       Overnight travel 25%-50% is possible.

·         Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment

·         Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity

·         Ability to prioritize among competing tasks

·       Critical thinking and problem solving skills

·       Possess a high degree of autonomy.

·       Ability to build relationship with a wide range of contacts

  • Successfully complete the DuBois field training program.

·       Capable of solving customer’s technical challenges and assisting with improvement process.

·       Document and communicate service findings for every customer service visit.

·       Able to learn and assist with DuBois eTools, System Surveys and Cost Calculators.

·       Demonstrate effective verbal, written and listening communication skills working within cross-functional teams.

  • Successfully complete the DuBois field training program.

 

EDUCATION REQUREMENTS

·       BS Degree is required.

o    Chemistry, Engineering, Metallurgy, or Applied Science field preferred.

·       Five or more years of specialty chemical industry account management required.

  • Working conditions:

    • The District Manager is a field based position. The majority of the workload is performed within the client facilities. This includes, but not limited to: mechanical room, industrial production facilities, construction sites and commercial facilities. This work is being performed at an assigned client list with varied contact types, including some challenging clients. The District Manager, will be expected to be available outside of standard business hours to support client satisfaction. The District Manager position involves substantial driving requirements to and from client sites.

  • Physical requirements:

    • The District Manager job can be physically demanding. This includes requirement to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects on a regular basis, The District Manager is required to move around industrial environment, carrying a portable test kit, computer and other tools.
