The Opportunity:

As Distribution Centre Team Leader you will be responsible for managing workflow and supervising work output in our Healthcare Outbound department.  The key functions of the distribution centre to which this role can be delegated include despatch and general duties associated with inventory control.

The role will conduct a safe and efficient day to day distribution operation, which exceeds internal and external customer requirements and expectations by always adhering to company standards and policies.

Your Skills, Experience, and Attributes:

  • Team leadership experience working in the warehouse environment, with a history in staff development.

  • Previous experience in inventory control process management, working with WMS software, RF Scanning and other technologies

  • Experience working in high volume environments with stringent compliance requirements

  • Highly motivated with the ability to gain respect from your team, and analyse and problem solve effectively

  • A commitment to customer service and strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

  • Attention to detail to ensuring all procedures and deadlines are met accurately, and on time

  • Excellent computer skills i.e. MS Office (Word and Excel), and Outlook email software

  • Certificate III in Warehousing (preferred)

  • Positive and reliable and enjoys working as part of a large team

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
