APEX is seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Distinguished Software Engineer. You will be responsible for
leading the development of innovative GenAI powered applications, as well as
architecting enterprise-grade platform, microservices, and pipelines.

Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex machine learning solutions that drive business results.

Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support to achieve their full potential and improve team efficiency.

Develop and maintain Engineering processes and best practices - setting and enforcing high standards for quality, reliability, and security in deployed machine learning solutions.

Work cross-functionally with business, product, data science, front-end engineering, and data engineering teams to ensure alignment and achieve business goals.

Effectively communicate technical work to senior/executive leaders in both technical and non-technical settings.

Stay up-to-date with the latest AI/ML technologies and trend - acting as a thought leader for ML Engineering within the organization and in the broader technical community.
What You'll Bring -
Deep knowledge and experience in building complex, large-scale, mission-critical machine learning applications with microservice architecture in Kubernetes.

Proven programming skills for end-to-end application and platform development such as Python, Java, ReactJS, LangChain, and related framework and libraries.

Expertise in building reliable and highly scalable products from scratch (applying operational excellence)

Highly resourceful and methodical in solution/architecture/API/codebase design and ability to translate product requirement into engineering blueprint.

Experience with common ML model serving framework, especially for NLP & LLM models/applications. Familiarity with GenAI/LLMs and related tooling ecosystem a plus.

Experience developing and maintaining engineering processes and best practices for AI app development, including code reviews, automated testing, performance optimization, and model monitoring.

Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to synthesize requirements across multiple domains and influence stakeholders/peer teams for strategic alignment.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an ability to approach problems in a logical and systematic manner.

Bentonville, Arkansas US-10735: The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $260,000.00
Sunnyvale, California US-11789: The annual salary range for this position is $169,000.00 - $338,000.00
Bellevue, Washington US-11075: The annual salary range for this position is $156,000.00 - $312,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
