About the Role

We’re looking for a Dispatch Team Lead to join our Laverton team. This role is critical to ensuring smooth dispatch operations and supporting our supply chain by leading a team and maintaining compliance with safety and Chain of Responsibility (COR) requirements.

In this position, you will work primarily on a Day Shift (6 AM – 2 PM) while overseeing a team that operates across a 24-hour schedule. You’ll play a key role in managing dispatch procedures, training staff, and ensuring accurate and timely execution of all dispatch activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team of 5 dispatch staff, including training and performance management.
  • Oversee dispatch procedures and resolve operational challenges (orders, pallets, scheduling).
  • Maintain accurate records in SAP and Pallet software.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (COR) laws and site safety standards.
  • Develop and manage rosters and act as a point of contact for after-hours support.
  • Promote a positive safety culture and lead by example.

About You

  • Previous experience in Dispatch/Logistics and Supervisory roles is essential.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience managing challenging team members.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel) and experience with SAP preferred.
  • Knowledge of COR compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work autonomously and make decisions under pressure.
