What you will do:
- Supervise Wolseley fleet drivers at multiple locations to ensure safety and positive interactions with our customers and internal staff
- Oversee routing via Wolseley software to ensure the warehouses have accurate data to plan facility resourcing to ensure daily orders are complete in time for loading to deliver.
- Plan and execute centralization of dispatchers to oversee regional delivery timetables.
- Supervise and lead dispatch staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Implement safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment. Ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with the customer service team and operations team to resolve customer inquiries and issues related to Dispatch operations as well as Fleet operations.
What you will bring:
- Previous dispatching experience required
- AS400/Syntax is an asset
- Knowledge of industry (Plumbing and or HVAC) products is an asset
- General basic computer skills including Microsoft Office is required
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Must be dependable and reliable and willing to take initiative
- Must be organized, clean and able to multi-task
