Dispatch Coordinator | Terrassa
We are looking for a proactive and versatile Dispatch Coordinator to join our operations team with immediate effect.
This is a dynamic role combining dispatch coordination, administrative support, and hands-on operational assistance when required. We are seeking someone organized, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
About the role
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that all deliveries are dispatched on time, to the correct destination, with the right documentation, and in the most efficient and cost-effective way.
In addition to coordination and administrative duties, you will also support warehouse daily operations whenever needed, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys a varied and practical position.
Key responsibilities
• Coordinate daily dispatch activities and monitor delivery schedules
• Update ETA information through continuous communication with agents and drivers
• Schedule and optimize driver routes and utilization
• Ensure transport operations are efficient, timely, and cost-effective
• Maintain accurate document flow, reporting, and shipment tracking
• Ensure compliance with transport rules, safety procedures, and company standards
• Follow up on delivery incidents and take corrective action when needed
• Support warehouse operational tasks and administrative activities as required
• Assist in maintaining delivery vehicles documentation and compliance records
What we are looking for
• Previous experience in dispatch, logistics coordination, warehouse administration, or similar operational roles
• Strong IT skills and confidence using computer systems on a daily basis
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Organized, systematic, and detail-oriented profile
• Flexible and hands-on attitude with willingness to support different areas of the operation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience within transport or logistics operations is highly valued
• Knowledge of Dangerous Goods transport regulations is a plus
