Job Description:


Position Summary:
Performs a variety of cleaning duties within Dietary Services. Garnishes patient trays, loads and unloads patient trays from tray trucks and strips patient trays. Stock condiment bar. Work in Dishroom:

Strip patient trays and scrape dishes.

Operate and load dish machines.

Work in pot area.

Receive or obtain pots.

Operate, load and unload pot machine.

Work in Coffee Shop.

Clean and stock Coffee Shop.

Operate and load dish machine.

Work in Cafeteria:

Replenish items in stock condiment area, such as but not limited to, mustard, ketchup, sugar, straws, napkins and utensils.

Work in Kitchen: Sweep and mop kitchen floor twice daily. Work in Tray line Area: Garnish patient trays. Load trays onto tray trucks and deliver to nursing units.

Minimum Qualifications: Education: working toward High School Diploma or GED Licensure, Certification, Registration: none Skills: Capable of following oral and written instructions. Manual dexterity required. One to three months to become proficient in all basic duties. Must be able to read and write english

 

 

Pay Range:

$17.00 - $22.88

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.  Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
