Job Description:
AIRBUS offer more than 70 vacancies for our full time graduate program in Spain - #Discover II 2026/2027 - Starting date 5th October 2026 until 1st October 2027.
We are looking for recent graduates from different disciplines interested in developing their professional career in the aeronautical sector. The current context demands different ways of looking, thinking and relating.
What does this internship consist of?
Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed an exclusive program (#DISCOVER) designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.
You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to DISCOVER the skills most in demand today. It will be combined with an 11 month internship at Airbus in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background.
The start of the internship will be in early October 2026, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.
The Loads & Aeroelastics department is in charge of computing all external loads acting on the vehicle due to maneuvers, flight in turbulence, landing impact, ground-handling etc… and the aeroelastic stability of the aircraft, from early design phases to certification. This includes as well the support to aircraft and systems test campaigns for qualification/certification and the monitoring of load levels on major components and systems. It contributes to the vehicle optimization process, providing overall vehicle loads, aircraft aeroelastic behavior, sensitivity studies and a component/system view for structural design.
At a crossroad between Flight Physics and the Stress Offices, Loads & Aeroelastics is at the heart of Engineering, whose view is particularly relevant as a key contributor to the development of the whole Airbus family and the world’s future commercial aircraft, following the Airbus ambition in terms of sustainable aviation.
This work will bring the applicant a view of the activities performed by the Loads & Aeroelastics department, particularly in the area of sloshing dynamics modelling, simulation, testing and air pressure loading, and to integrate them in the Flight Physics framework in order to be able to obtain an overall picture of aircraft physics.
