AIRBUS offer more than 70 vacancies for our full time graduate program in Spain - #Discover II 2026 2027 - Starting date 5th October 2026 until 1st October 2027.
We are looking for recent graduates from different disciplines interested in developing their professional career in the aeronautical sector The current context demands different ways of looking, thinking and relating.
The selection process will be during April 2026 until July 2026.
What does this internship consists in?
Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed an exclusive program (Discover) designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.
You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to Discover the skills most in demand today It will be combined with an 11 month internship at Airbus in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background.
The start of the internship will be in early October 2026 and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes) It is a full time experience 40 h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant
Internship Job Description:
Your main activities will be:
Develop new approaches in the field of advanced simulation of complex metallic structures from a Fatigue & Damage Tolerance (F&DT) point of view
Contribute to the state of the art in the application of Continuum Damage Mechanics (CDM) to F&DT, in which Airbus Defence & Space is world leader, by expanding our current in-house framework (Abaqus, Python, etc)
Perform Verification & Validation activities against physical data of the results obtained using CDM-based simulations
Apply these contributions to analyse real scenarios

As a successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Studying Degrees in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
English: min. level B2 (C1 desirable)
General knowledge in structural analysis
Skills valued: Finite Element Method (Abaqus) and programming (Python)
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Team spirit and great collaboration skills
Ability to work in complex and international environments
