Position Summary/Purpose: The purpose of this role is to serve as an ambassador (organizationally & relationally) to prospective students who attend the overnight, expenses-paid-for, Discover GCU trip. This includes weekly event operations, presenting trained information, sharing of personal and positive GCU experiences, and providing a positive and safe environment for guests.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities/Essential Functions:
- Support and promote GCU’s Doctrinal Statement.
- Execute weekly event operations, procedures, policies, and protocols with absolute excellence.
- Present on trained information to groups of guests.
- Provide positive and safe experience for guests.
- Ensure inventory is adequate per each event.
- Ensure rooms are adequately cleaned and prepared for events.
- Additional Tasks as assigned.

- Microsoft 365 Suite
- Point of Sales (POS) systems
- SkyTouch
- Group Me
Qualifications:
- Must be available to work a minimum of 15 hours per week and have open availability to consistently work weekends
- Experience with youth, preferably in a camp environment.
- Flexibility and enthusiasm are a must.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Outgoing and comfortable with public speaking in front of various groups.
- Campus living and extracurricular activities within GCU strongly preferred to be able to provide first-hand experience to visitors.

- Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a bachelor’s program.
- Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student.
- Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
