Discipleship Project Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

The Discipleship Project Manager partners closely with the Executive Director of Discipleship and the Central Director of Groups & Classes to provide leadership, organization, and strategic support across key ministry areas, including Groups, Classes, Marriage, Freedom, Recovery, Pastoral Care, and Prayer.

This role is ideal for a dynamic, detail-oriented team player with a passion for helping people grow in their relationship with God and others. The Discipleship Project Manager will lead high-level projects, streamline processes, and help advance the mission and vision of Christ Fellowship Church.

JOB DUTIES:

Project Management

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of high-impact Discipleship initiatives, transforming vision into organized, scalable spiritual growth pathways.
  • Drive the production and launch of original video and printed curriculum, ensuring every resource is delivered with excellence and on time for thousands of participants.
  • Help with the complex logistics of semester launches for groups and classes across all locations, to ensure a seamless experience for every person.

Content & Resource Management

  • Maintain, organize, and inventory Discipleship curriculum, class resources, and ministry playbooks to ensure accessibility and consistency.

Training & Development

  • Assist in training, equipping, and supporting campus Discipleship staff.  Assist with planning and executing Discipleship team trainings and meetings.

Ministry Evaluation & Improvement

  • Develop and implement systems to measure the Discipleship team's effectiveness and identify growth opportunities.

Scheduling & Coordination

  • Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and oversee scheduling needs, including Christ Fellowship’s Emergency On-Call Pastor program.

Logistical & Administrative Support

  • Provide high-level logistical and administrative support to the Executive Director of Discipleship and the Central Director of Groups & Classes.

Budgeting Support

  • Assist with annual and monthly budgeting processes.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • 2-4 years of paid or volunteer ministry experience.
