EMBARK NOW on a deeply rewarding journey as a Support Worker and make a meaningful difference in the lives of CPA's younger client base in a group Shared Independent Living (SIL) home in Terrey Hills.
 

Disability Support Practitioner roles at CPA SIL homes centre around promoting client wellbeing, independence, and domestic assistance. Your responsibilities can include:

  • Supporting clients to develop and maintain independence, and advocate for the clients and their individual needs.

  • Delivering personalized support by assisting clients at mealtimes, personal care, administrating medication, manual handling using a variety equipment and aids.

  • Transporting clients in our wheelchair accessible vans and pool cars and community access.

  • Monitoring the well-being of clients and reporting on their progress.

  • Being part of a fun and dynamic team


This is a permanent part-time position with up to 35 hours weekly available.

What You'll Bring:

We are looking for candidates who embody CPA values, are client-focused in their approach to care, and are passionate about the opportunity to make an impact in the lives of people with disabilities.

  • A Client-focused and growth mindset - you're open to learning and ready to make a difference
  • Professional Behaviour Support experience or lived experience preferred, however your can-do attitude is key!
  • NSW Driver's Licence (P2 or above)
  • Physical capability to support clients with mobility and transfers
  • Availability for a variety of shift times across the day, including early mornings (6am-9am), afternoons (12pm - 5pm), evenings (5pm-11pm), overnights (11pm-6am)
