The Role:

Support adults living in CPA group homes to lead rich, independent and empowered lives. We currently have multiple roster opportunities in our SIL houses in Stockton. The majority of these shifts are afternoon, evening, or awake-overnight hours. Priority will be given to candidates have availability for those hours.

Your day-to-day may include:

  • Providing respectful support with personal care, mealtimes, medication, and daily routines

  • Encouraging skill-building, independence, and decision-making

  • Supporting community engagement, social connection and transport (including use of CPA vans & in your own vehicle)

  • Following person-centred plans with empathy and professionalism

  • Building positive relationships with our clients

What You'll Bring:

We are looking for candidates who embody CPA values, are client-focused in their approach to care, and are passionate about the opportunity to make an impact in the lives of people with disabilities. You'll bring:

  • A can-do attitude and growth mindset — you’re open to learning and ready to make a difference

  • Professional Behaviour Support experience or lived experience preferred, however your passion & enthusiasm is key!

  • NSW Driver’s Licence (P2 or above)

  • Physical capability to support clients with mobility or transfers

  • Availability across a variety of shift times, including:

    • Early mornings (6am - 9am)

    • Day shifts (9am - 3/4pm)

    • Afternoons & evenings

    • Awake overnights (10pm-6am)

  • CPA is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 91561). 

    We offer fully funded nationally recognised qualifications including: 

    • CHC33021 – Certificate III in Individual Support 

    • Ongoing specialist training and skill development
