Role Overview:

The Web Director owns the global AutoStore.com ecosystem and related web properties, ensuring a world-class digital experience from first click to lead conversion.
 

This role blends strategy, technology, content, and data — leveraging HubSpot, AI-driven personalization, AEO, and CMS optimization to deliver measurable business results.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Web Strategy & Digital Experience

  • Define and execute AutoStore’s global web and digital experience strategy aligned with brand and ABM goals.

  • Build a seamless, customer-centric journey supporting awareness, consideration, and conversion stages.

  • Lead initiatives to personalize the digital experience using AI-driven content recommendations and behavioral data.

Content & Conversion Optimization

  • Oversee global content delivery and localization across all digital channels.

  • Apply AI tools (e.g., predictive analytics, chatbots, and content optimization platforms) to enhance engagement and conversion.

  • Partner with brand, content, campaign and product marketing teams to create consistent, high-performing landing pages and experiences.

AEO, Analytics & Tagging

  • Lead global AEO and tagging strategy, ensuring proper data capture and performance insights.

  • Use AI-assisted AEO tools to optimize organic performance and keyword targeting.

  • Translate data into actionable insights to drive ongoing improvement in visibility and engagement.

 

HubSpot & Martech Integration

  • Ensure seamless integration between HubSpot, CMS, CRM, and analytics tools for lead tracking and nurturing.

  • Utilize AI-powered lead scoring, segmentation, and workflow automation to improve marketing efficiency.

  • Partner with the ABM and paid media teams to align data flows and optimize conversion paths.

CMS Ownership & Innovation

  • Own CMS operations (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore, or similar), ensuring scalability, localization, and strong UX.

  • Champion AI-enhanced content management, including tagging automation, asset recommendations, and performance prediction.

  • Collaborate with IT and external vendors on technical development and system improvements.

 

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • 7+ years of experience in web strategy, or digital experience management — ideally in B2B technology or industrial automation.

  • Excellent project management skills

  • Proven expertise in:

    • HubSpot CMS and Marketing Hub

    • AEO and Google Tag Manager

    • Website analytics (GA4, Looker Studio, HubSpot)

    • CMS systems (WordPress, Sitecore, etc.)

    • AI tools for content and optimization (e.g., Jasper, ChatGPT, SurferSEO, Mutiny, or Adobe Sensei)

    • Personalization, A/B testing, and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

  • Experience leading global web operations, managing agencies, and collaborating with cross-functional marketing and IT teams.

  • People management skills
