Directly manages a multidisciplinary virtual clinic team - including pharmacists, health coaches, and patient support staff - while owning day-to-day operations across an ambulatory virtual care model. Develops, measures, and drives accountability against a comprehensive key performance indicator (KPI) framework, and ensures staffing, logistics, and implementation readiness keep pace with program growth. Using deep electronic health record fluency and demonstrated experience running clinic or clinical program operations to a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment. Works closely with clinical leaders, product managers, digital teams, finance, and senior leadership to ensure the program operates as a high-performing, scalable care delivery model.Job Description:

EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
7 years of progressive experience in healthcare administration, virtual care, ambulatory operations, population health, or digital health environments.
Experience contributing to or leading multidisciplinary clinical teams with an emphasis on operational performance.
Experience working within or supporting operational KPI frameworks, workforce models, and capacity planning.
Experience supporting healthcare supply chain logistics and vendor relationships.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Deep familiarity with Epic, including clinical workflows, data structures, and reporting approaches, with the ability to leverage the platform operationally to monitor performance and support care team effectiveness. Familiarity with regulatory, compliance, and patient privacy considerations within healthcare operations.
Demonstrated success running clinic or clinical program operations in an ambulatory or virtual setting, with direct accountability for care team performance, patient throughput, and operational outcomes. Ability to thrive in an innovation environment - this is not a static operational maintenance role.
A passion for building operational systems that deliver high-quality patient care.
A collaborative style that works effectively with clinicians, digital teams, finance, and stakeholders at multiple levels.
Comfort navigating ambiguity and operating in an innovation-driven environment with evolving priorities.

Pay Range is $202,030.40 to $323,232.00 / annual salaryThe compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
