What You’ll Do

The Director, Trade Marketing is a strategic leader within the Global GTM & Channel Strategy team, owning both commercial readiness (go-to-market execution) and market governance (channel strategy, pricing, and distributor oversight) across all markets. This role translates brand and product strategy into disciplined, commercially impactful launch plans and channel frameworks globally.

  • Own and define the global go-to-market (GTM) strategy across all product launches, franchise moments, and key commercial activations
  • Set the global channel strategy across Sephora, DTC, Amazon, Travel Retail, Owned Retail, and distributor markets
  • Own both commercial readiness (GTM execution) and market governance (channel, pricing, and distributor strategy) across all markets
  • Lead decision-making on channel conflict, assortment strategy, and pricing architecture, ensuring global consistency and commercial rigor
  • Establish global retailer frameworks for key partners, aligning assortment, storytelling, and launch timing across regions
  • Own commercial storytelling and claims architecture to support strong global and regional sell-in
  • Lead distributor market governance, ensuring alignment to brand standards, pricing integrity, and commercial priorities
  • Drive post-launch performance reviews and embed learnings into future GTM strategy

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Building and evolving the global GTM framework and launch prioritization model
  • Leading cross-functional alignment across Product, Marketing, Supply Chain, Retail, and regional teams
  • Defining channel differentiation strategies and exclusivity frameworks
  • Developing global sell-in narratives and commercial storytelling for key launches
  • Establishing governance models for pricing, promotions, and distributor markets
  • Driving continuous improvement through post-launch analytics and performance insights

 

 Must Haves 

  • 10+ years of experience in trade marketing, GTM, commercial strategy, or related roles within beauty, FMCG, or retail
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of global retail channels (Sephora, DTC, Amazon, Travel Retail)
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into commercial impact
  • Experience operating in a global, matrixed organization
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred

 

 

 

Salary Range
$150,000$190,000 USD
