The head of Test Development Operations within the Test Technology and Systems group inside Global Operations and Technology is responsible for all operational aspects of test development at Analog Devices. This leader will manage a globally dispersed team overseeing test development capital expenditures (capex), asset utilization, and the delivery of a comprehensive suite of test development services at the company’s largest test development sites. The role ensures optimal equipment strategy and supports early testing for some of Analog Devices’ most complex products. This leader is accountable for both current operational excellence and building the organizational capability required to meet ADI’s future test development needs.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead and manage all operational functions of test development, ensuring world-class service delivery and process excellence across a global organization.
  • Direct a geographically dispersed team providing test development services at the five largest ADI test development sites.  Provide mentorship, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Oversee and manage all capex for test development—including planning, justification, and execution—ensuring assets are deployed for maximum business impact.
  • Monitor and optimize global test development asset utilization, ensuring equipment is positioned and maintained to support efficient, high-quality test development.
  • Provide early testing support for highly complex, high-impact products, partnering with BU test engineering to accelerate time to market.
  • Drive process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives to advance operational efficiency, cost management, and quality.
  • Together with the Test Technology Staff define & create ‘the future of measurement’ in ADI: utilizing AI/ML to optimize development and analysis; enable digital twins to shift development left with virtual ate; increase simulation of hardware to reduce errors & revisions; support new capabilities like flying probe, license management and new test modalities like Sensinel to support ADI 3.0.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BSEE or equivalent with extensive experience (15+ years) in test engineering, test operations, or similar roles within the semiconductor industry.
  • Demonstrated success leading global teams and managing large-scale operations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive reporting skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen, with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.

  • Experience in development/mentoring high-performing, diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated success in leading change and building organizational capability for the future.

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $174,750 to $262,125.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.

  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
