Genmab is looking for a highly structured and execution-focused Business Operations partner to support TechOps. This role will act as a central anchor point for Business Operations, while working closely with key teams to drive alignment, execution, and operational effectiveness. 

 

About TechOps 

Technical Operations at Genmab encompasses the full Chemistry, Manufacturing & Controls (CMC) spectrum—including process development, clinical and commercial manufacturing, as well as global supply chain. As a foundational function in Genmab’s integrated R&D-to-commercial model, TechOps plays a pivotal role in delivering on our 2030 vision to transform the future of cancer treatment. 

 

The Role 

In this role, you will act as a central coordinator and integrator for Business Operations across TechOps, while also serving as a dedicated partner to selected teams: Strategy and Business Effectiveness, and Commercial Supply Chain, helping translate strategy into execution, ensuring transparency on progress and risks, and enabling structured ways of working, as well as day-to-day tasks and activities, incl. budget, resources management etc. 

This role is critical in ensuring consistency, clarity, and alignment across teams, without adding unnecessary complexity—requiring a balance of hands-on execution, coordination, and stakeholder engagement. 

The role is onsite in Copenhagen and reports to Vice President, Head of TechOps Strategy and Business Effectiveness.

 

Key responsibilities 

  • Act as a central anchor point for Business Operations across TechOps, incl budget, resources etc.

  • Support translation of strategy into clear priorities, plans, and follow-up 

  • Enable governance and structured ways of working, including meeting cadence, tracking, and follow-ups 

  • Provide transparency on progress, risks, and dependencies across initiatives 

  • Support coordination across cross-functional initiatives and enabling capabilities 

  • Contribute to performance tracking and reporting (KPIs, dashboards) 

  • Help ensure clarity in roles, responsibilities, and decision-making processes 

Business Operations Partnering 

  • Act as Business Operations partner supporting execution  

  • Enable visibility on supply performance, risks, and priorities 

  • Support planning, coordination, and decision-making processes 

  • Enable planning, tracking, and follow-up on key priorities 

  • Support with budget and resource management 

 

Requirements

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) in business, life sciences, engineering, or related field 

  • 8–12+ years of experience in business operations, PMO, strategy execution, or similar roles in biotech/pharma or Consultancy

  • Strong understanding of TechOps / Supply Chain / CMC environments 

  • Experience working in cross-functional, matrix organizations 

  • Proven ability to support execution and coordination across multiple stakeholders 

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills 

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
