Major Responsibilities:

  • Designs and implements an integrated sourcing strategy to optimize and drive a best-in-class recruitment program to meet current talent needs and future business growth.  Executes on strategy through supporting dedicated sourcing specialists on the TA Delivery Team.  Supports the execution of sourcing assignments and drives pipeline development. 
  • Establishes and standardizes talent sourcing processes, protocols and practices utilizing various techniques to attract top talent. 
  • Manages a regular cadence and flow of information to TA Delivery leadership, site HR and other recruiting stakeholders. 
  • Ensures Advocate Health brand resonates with candidates and drives up applicant volume.  
  • Supports workforce strategy development and implementation of the action plans tied to our key strategic priorities. Develops and evaluates overall recruitment productivity standards to ensure vacancies are filled efficiently with top external or internal talent and identifies opportunities for process improvement to increase efficiency and/or quality of hire. 
  • Proactively seeks opportunities to implement innovative and creative methods to help drive an exceptional candidate experience and a more advanced, efficient and cost-effective recruitment process. 
  • Ensures the use of appropriate recruiting platforms, technology and processes to meet the talent needs of the organization, the team and the passive candidates. Ensures the team builds effective talent networks. 
  • Leverages data, including predictive analytics, to anticipate and to respond to business demands, external market conditions, and determine areas of focus and to scale the team appropriately. Oversees partnerships with vendors and ensures cost-effective, high-tech/high-touch solutions are in place to provide excellent service to the TA team and post-offer team members. 
  • Connects with peers and associations to benchmark and consistently keep up to date on new sourcing technology and trends.   
     

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

  • None

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field. 

Experience Required:

  • Typically requires 7 years of experience in human resources.  Includes 3 year of management experience in leading recruitment, human resources or service centered teams.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Knowledge of state and federal labor laws and regulations that influence human resources, as well as related implications.
  • Resiliency and flexibility to deal with a rapidly changing and stressful environment.          
  • Excellent listening and consulting skills. Ability to develop operational partnerships, assess complex hiring issues and needs, and deliver appropriate recruiting solutions across a multiple client portfolio. 
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including mentoring, coaching, training and holding others accountable. 
  • Expertise in leading projects which include planning the life cycle of the project and identifying key project activities. Proven ability to develop sound proposals and successfully implement programs. 
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced team environment. Proven ability to meet multiple deadlines, prioritize multiple demands, and identify/solve problems creatively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work and function in a complex corporate system environment. Excellent communication skills to work effectively with a variety of candidates and leadership. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites or similar products as well as applicable human capital management/applicant tracking software.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • This position requires travel, therefore, will be exposed to weather and road conditions.  
  • Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.  
  • Exposed to a normal office environment.
