Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems sector is looking for a high‑performing leader to join our Global Supply Chain team as Director Supply Chain Programs 1. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Supplier Relationship and Performance Management for the Air Dominance and Research & Advanced Design divisions, this role oversees a multi‑site workforce throughout Southern California. This position can be located in El Segundo, CA or San Diego, CA.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 10 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, proposals, procurement, business management, contracts, engineering or subcontracts OR a Master’s Degree with at least 8 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, proposals, procurement, business management, contracts, engineering or subcontracts
  • Must have experience working with international and domestic suppliers
  • Must have direct experience in working with capture teams in developing and submitting compliant new business offers
  • Must have experience leading a team, process, and/or projects from conception to completion
  • Must have Government Contracting Experience (FAR, DFARS) and terms and conditions, contract types and associated geometry
  • At minimum, an active U.S. Government Secret level clearance is required to apply and to start the role, with the ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Top Secret clearance and Special Program Accesses within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs

  • Demonstrated strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to model and promote a strong sense of engagement, teamwork and cooperation
  • Strong negotiation and organizational skills
  • The ability to deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment while demonstrating a professional attitude

Primary Level Salary Range: $203,900.00 - $305,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
