What you will do
Manage a field-based technical and scientific support team; define goals and KPIs to integrate Lonza products and services into therapy development and production processes.
Assist customers with bioprocessing workflow design and troubleshooting; collaborate to create value-adding solutions.
Support sales and marketing for all bioprocessing-related products, including training for Lonza personnel and customers.
Deliver presentations at technical and scientific seminars, conferences, academic institutions, customer sites, and webinars; generate white papers and support benchwork activities at customer sites.
Support in-field tests for new products and participate in Voice of Customer (VOC) surveys.
Develop cross-functional activities with other Lonza business units, especially Mammalian.
Participate in external forums to stay abreast of industry trends (e.g., Share groups, LinkedIn groups).
Maintain understanding of the latest Media Solutions opportunities and trends; inspire the Bioscience organization with new possibilities.
Establish and report engagement metrics and KPIs; develop reports with recommendations and insights; analyze competitor performance and make recommendations for Bioprocessing Solutions efforts.

What we are looking for
Master’s degree or PhD in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or equivalent.
Highly experienced (10+ years) in industrial application of mammalian cell culture and related markets.
Build and manage a high-performing team.
Extensive practical experience in industrial bioprocessing methods and workflows within life sciences.
Demonstrated success in building customer relationships and understanding customer needs.
Strong passion for and in-depth knowledge of cell biology and cell analysis.
Ability to articulate product benefits and values, branding, marketing, and creative strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Strong strategic thinker with conceptual strategy and project leadership capabilities.
Data interpretation and analysis skills.
Ability to interface and command attention at the C-suite level.
Fluent in English; additional languages preferred.
Commercial acumen and business savvy.
Detail-oriented, highly driven, and motivated; strong organizational skills.
Ability to work in a global team and lead projects effectively.
