The Opportunity
We’re seeking a Director who will define and execute strategies to win in the software, services and solutions space with HP’s trusted brand, reach and routes-to-market, and the breadth and completeness of HP’s overall portfolio.
Strategy definition needs to evaluate the existing services and solutions portfolio, the broader market including immediate competition and the broader solutions space. AI will be a critical enabler, and future strategies will have to incorporate AI software and products into the solutions. You will define the execution roadmap, work closely with product teams to define product roadmaps and pricing & packaging, with sales and marketing to define the appropriate GTM including partner strategy, work with HP’s Commercial Organization to shape market entry and scale plans.
This is a high-visibility role reporting to the Head of HP Solutions Strategy, ideal for a leader who blends deep technical acumen with strong business operations expertise, thrives in ambiguity, and can influence senior executives and lead cross-functional teams. You’ll work directly with Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Supply Chain. You are expected to bring the customer perspective to understand demand and market trends, have experience working directly in a mature software and / or services organization, and engage frequently with industry and analyst groups (such as IDC, Gartner) to shape a successful strategy in these fast-evolving spaces.
