In this highly visible position the Director, Solutions Engineering & Services will lead the Solutions Management, and Professional Services & Solutions Development teams. You will be responsible for Americas region roadmap prioritization & market feedback, professional services delivery, and ongoing technical knowledge transfer in the region. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Business Development, Solutions & Services leadership to drive the Americas strategy for launch initiatives in Americas, Axis HQ in Sweden, and 2N HQ in Prague. You will also be responsible for developing and generating business strategies and providing input, management and guidance for strategic solutions and programs.

This is an international role and up to 50% travel within the region and to Sweden & Prague will be considered a natural part of the job. The selected individual must be based out of, or be willing to relocate to, our Chelmsford, MA office. This position reports to the Director of Business Development & Services.
What you’ll do here as Director, Solutions Engineering & Services:
Provide leadership and strategic direction for Solutions management, Professional services & solutions development
Develop and execute strategies for entering new markets, offering services, and providing input into the long-term vision and roadmap backed by technological innovation
Serve as liaison towards Americas Area Technical teams and support the ongoing technology knowledge transfer to sales organization
Collaborate with development and launch teams to ensure the smooth introduction and adoption of products into Americas market
Lead and develop a team of cross-functional professionals working toward innovation and adoption of Axis products, solutions, services & technologies
Coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders in Lund, globally and across the Americas to ensure that proposed solutions & services are properly qualified and meet market needs and industry trends
Develop business cases, determine resource allocation, and track and report on KPIs for new initiatives
Build and run Americas Technical Training Center in collaboration with Global Sales Engineering

We'd love to hear that you have/are:
Degree in Business or related field
15+ years experience in information technology, physical security industry or related field
Experience leading technical teams and history of balancing technical excellence and business priorities
Experience managing highly skilled and experienced professionals

Target Salary:
The approximate pay range for this role is $230,000 - $250,000 OTE on a 80/20 split. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the state.
