CIBC Bank USA seeks a Director, Software Engineering, US Data to manage data software delivery teams and ensure productivity, quality, and efficiency of internal software systems. Serve as technology owner for data warehousing systems, and perform data warehouse development and maintenance. Design, plan, and execute multi-year projects to convert on-site ETL tools to Azure Databricks. Oversee data governance and compliance with regulatory and corporate standards and policies. Serve as primary interface with internal, external, and regulatory auditors. Manage communications and relationships with upstream data providers and downstream data consumers. #LI-DNI
Position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field, and 5 years of experience with financial data modeling and design. Experience must include at minimum: 5 years of experience with managing software development life cycles; 5 years of experience with API development and management for the financial industry; 5 years of experience with Dodd-Frank and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance within software development; 5 years of experience with Azure Cloud technologies and infrastructure; 5 years of experience with Java and Python; and 5 years of experience with Databricks and Talend Data Fabric. Telecommuting benefit available. Up to 15% domestic travel is required.
