Director, Software Engineering – AxiomSL (Regulatory Reporting)

As a Director, Software Engineering reporting to Software Engineering Director, you’ll play a critical role in leading complex software delivery, shaping technical direction, and driving high‑performance team execution aligned with organizational strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads the design, development, and maintenance of complex software solutions, ensuring alignment with system and business requirements.

  • Defines software architecture needs and delivers both short‑ and long‑term technology solutions across applications, infrastructure, and network systems.

  • Manages and develops a team of professionals, overseeing goal‑setting, performance reviews, talent development, and overall team effectiveness.

  • Drives operational excellence by prioritising, setting priorities, optimizing processes, managing budgets, and monitoring performance indicators.

  • Provides technical and strategic guidance while contributing to organization‑wide projects and fostering a high‑performing, motivated team culture.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar field.

  • Proficient in relevant professional experience.

  • Additional certifications across multiple specialist fields relevant to the role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Holds or is pursuing a second degree or Master’s in a specialized area such as Finance, Financial Markets, or Mathematics.

This position will be located in Poland and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
