Assist the Business Development deal teams in evaluating integration/ separation requirements including approach, costs, resources, risks, and mitigants
Partner closely with Business Unit/ Segment Leader(s) to lead day-to-day integration/ separation planning and execution efforts across pre-close and post-close phases
Lead and/ or partner closely with Business Unit/ Segment Leader(s) on all aspects of the development of details integration/ separation workplans, deal timeline and roadmap
Identify and engage GE HealthCare cross-functional team members to define deal workstreams and integration/ separation charters for each function
Lead planning and program management aspects of execution by operationalizing complex legal entity transactions working very closely with Tax, Treasury, Legal and Accounting teams and other cross-functional team members
Develop TSA schedules, costing methodology, governance, billing mechanisms and exit planning
• Facilitate critical cross-functional integration/ separation workshops (e.g., kick-off, Day 1 readiness/ cutover and process-flow workshops etc.)
Drive day-to-day execution of the deal process, including coaching cross-functional teams, leading weekly team meetings, and driving proactive issue resolution
Lead deal governance process to ensure speed, consistency and control over transactions
Identify and work closely with external advisors (bankers, external counsel, financial diligence teams and consultants)
Track and report to GE HealthCare deal sponsors, leadership and executives, critical metrics aligned with deal value drivers
Facilitate development and approval of external support resources and actively track budget
Develop, deploy and use a toolkit to identify and monitor action items and coordinate issues and dependencies all along the transaction lifecycle
Increase awareness and provide training to collaborators on transactions, including BD, diligence teams, functional leads, business Leaders and business owners/managers
Conduct post-mortems on deal and integration / separation execution
Drive the development of deal planning and execution standard methodologies
Serve as a SME representing GE HealthCare’s M&A Integration/ Separation Center of Excellence in developing, espousing the philosophies, processes and results of the team and the organization both inside and outside of Company’s walls
Serve as a key point of contact for the acquired company and ensure their teams are supported adequately during the transition or partnership period
Oversee the development of Change Impact Assessments and a Change Management/Communications Plans for all significant activities triggered by integration/ separation
Bachelor's Degree required. Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration (MBA) preferred
5 – 7 years of experience supporting M&A activity, integrations and/ or divestitures including diligence, integration/ separation planning and execution in global healthcare and MedTech industry
8 – 10 years of cross-functional project/ program management and leadership experience including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, vendor management, risk management and implementation support in complex globally matrixed organization environment
Rigorous attention to detail in developing, supporting and tracking detailed project milestones and metrics
Strong interpersonal skills and developing team leadership/ workshop facilitation skills

Solid critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to identify and evaluate assumptions and draw conclusions, ability to independently identify, resolve and escalate issues, and provide concise executive level summary that accurately reflect analyses

Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time or as required.
Highly familiar with M&A processes across the entire deal continuum from due diligence to deal signing, Closing or getting to Day 1, and post-merger integration
Extensive program, project management and process management skills
Some high-level understanding of one or more end-to-end business processes like quote-to-cash, returns, source-to-pay, forecast-to-delivery, plan-to-inventory, record-to-report, hire-to-retire, and appreciation for complex IT integration is highly desirable
Is comfortable and can thrive in ambiguous and rapidly evolving situations
Has a high capacity to manage and support complex work across multiple projects at any point of time
