The Job
- Lead the design and execution of enterprise-wide talent development strategies, including leadership development, talent acceleration, succession planning, and career development across all employee segments.
- Establish robust talent identification, assessment, and development frameworks to ensure leadership continuity and strong internal talent mobility.
- Drive the delivery of scalable, future-focused learning programmes that address current and emerging capability needs, including leadership, digital, and cross-functional skills.
- Provide strategic oversight of succession, development planning and performance management for senior management and critical roles, working closely with senior leaders and HR Business Partners through talent dialogues and talent review processes.
- Lead employee engagement, culture, wellbeing, and recognition strategies to strengthen employee experience, organisational commitment, and retention.
- Use employee data, engagement insights, and talent analytics to diagnose challenges, measure programme effectiveness, and drive targeted interventions.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to enhance organisational effectiveness, leadership capability, and change readiness.
- Contribute to regional and group-level people and culture initiatives, ensuring strong local execution and alignment with broader organisational direction.
- Drive innovation and digitalisation across talent development and learning, leveraging technology, modern learning methodologies, and external best practices.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Talent Development & Engagement team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Provide advisor and guidance to different network and employee recreational committees and groups.
- Manage budgets and resources for talent and engagement initiatives, ensuring cost effectiveness and sustainable return on investment.
The Person
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology or any related discipline
- A minimum of 12 – 15 years' relevant experience, with substantial experience in talent development, leadership development, training, succession planning and employee engagement at a senior level
- Experience in Financial and insurance industry a definite advantage.
- Familiarity with modern learning platforms, digital learning solutions and HR system.
- Demonstrates strong leadership, adaptability, and collaboration within fast-paced environments.
- Strong analytical capabilities and effective stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills.
- Independent, self-directed, good team management and hands on in execution.
- Strong written and verbal communication in English & Cantonese.
