We are looking for a Director Sales Enablement & Effectiveness to

provide enterprise leadership for Sales Enablement & Effectiveness, setting the strategy, structure, and culture that drive sustainable revenue growth. Aligns broker/advisor enablement with Manulife Bank’s strategic priorities, equipping sales teams with tools, skills, and support to deliver superior client outcomes. Acts as the senior voice of enablement at the leadership table, shaping how Manulife Bank competes, grows, and differentiates in the Canadian marketplace. The incumbent and respective team enable both the Real Estate Secured Lending and Specialized Lending teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership – Define vision, strategy, and roadmap for Sales Enablement.
  • Governance & Stakeholder Engagement – Partner with senior leaders in Sales, Product, Marketing, Compliance, and Operations.
  • Portfolio Oversight – Ensure initiatives are prioritized, sequenced, and resourced appropriately.
  • People Leadership – Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing enablement team.
  • Participate in enterprise risk, compliance, and governance forums.
  • Support Sales leadership with strategy alignment and reporting.

 

Job Requirements:

  • 10+ years in sales leadership, enablement, or strategy roles.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale change and enablement programs.
  • Strong knowledge of financial services, ideally mortgage broker/advisor distribution.
  • Proven ability to build new functions and operating models.
  • Exceptional executive communication and influence skills.
  • Strong financial and business acumen, including budget oversight.
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity and drive alignment across a matrix organization.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is preferred
  • Certification in Change Management or Project Management is preferred

Working Arrangement

Hybrid

Salary range is expected to be between

$116,000.00 CAD - $166,000.00 CAD.
