Director, Revenue Management Core Brands

JOB SUMMARY:

The Director, Revenue Management leads the revenue performance strategy for a large portfolio of midscale and upper midscale hotels, ensuring pricing, inventory management and distribution decisions drive strong financial results. This role oversees a scalable, vendor-supported revenue management model that delivers consistent, data-driven performance across a broad geographic region. The position partners closely with internal stakeholders and leaders, analytics teams, and external partners to identify opportunities, improve outcomes, and implement effective strategies. The role manages multiple direct reports and oversees a third-party vendor team responsible for day-to-day revenue management execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Revenue Performance & Accountability: Own revenue results across a regional hotel portfolio, driving improvements in revenue, market share, and profitability through clear targets and disciplined execution

  • Vendor & Program Management: Lead a third-party vendor team, ensuring accountability to performance goals and contractual standards, while partnering to optimize service delivery and outcomes

  • Strategy, Analytics & Execution: Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; translate insights into clear strategies and actions; and continuously evaluate effectiveness to drive sustained growth

  • Performance Reporting & Communication: Deliver clear, data-driven performance reporting across formats, effectively communicating results, insights, and the overall impact to stakeholders

  • Cross-Functional & Financial Alignment: Partner with internal teams to align pricing and commercial strategies, and contribute to financial planning through forecasting and pricing inputs

  • Operational Excellence & Scalability: Establish and refine processes, standards, and service models in collaboration with Program Enablement to support consistent, scalable performance

  • Team Leadership & Performance Culture: Build and lead a high-performing team through coaching, feedback, and development, fostering a strong culture of accountability, capability building, and results-driven performance

QUALIFICATIONS:

Employment Experience

  • 7+ years of experience, including at least 4 years in performance analytics, strategy, or financial analysis

  • Experience managing external vendors to drive performance strongly preferred

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, including data mining and visualization (Tableau preferred)

  • Advanced PowerPoint skills with the ability to create clear, concise, and executive-ready presentations that effectively communicate insights, recommendations and actions.

  • Strong business and financial acumen, including business case development and return on investment analysis

  • Ability to evaluate business trends and translate data into actionable solutions

Education Requirements

  • MBA preferred

SALARY RANGE

The salary range for this position is $163,544 to $190,000 annually. In addition to the annual salary, this role is eligible for an annual bonus based on the terms of Choice's Management Incentive Plan (MIP).
