We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Director, Restaurant to join our Deli & Restaurant team in Langley, BC.  

Reporting to the General Manager, Deli & Restaurant, the Director, Restaurant will play a key role in shaping and executing Pattison Food Group’s in-store restaurant and prepared food strategy across all banners. This role is responsible for identifying emerging food service trends and translating them into scalable, high-quality, and commercially viable programs.

The successful applicant will lead the development, optimization, and growth of in-store restaurant concepts, while managing key vendor and supplier relationships. This position will be instrumental in advancing Pattison Food Group’s vision by delivering convenient, high-quality, and value-driven meal solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.


You will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert operational guidance to regional specialists and store teams to ensure consistency, quality, and Execution excellence.

  • Collaborating with with store operations and the regional Directors delivering program excellence and great customer experience.

  • Analyzing financial performance, establishing targets, and driving initiatives to achieve sales, margin, and labour objectives.

  • Leading and developing a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities, concepts, and partnerships to expand the in-store restaurant offering.

  • Partnering cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure alignment and successful execution.

  • Overseeing the development and rollout of new programs, ensuring scalability and operational feasibility.

  • Monitoring industry trends, customer preferences, and the competitive landscape to inform strategy and innovation.

  • Driving a culture of innovation that challenges the status quo and delivers profitable, customer-focused solutions.

  • Supporting the strategic direction, development, and execution of in-store restaurant and prepared food programs across all banners.

  • Supporting the definition and evolvement of the product mix, menu strategy, and operational model to drive sales, margin, and customer engagement.

You have:

  • A university degree in business, commerce, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience in multi-unit operations, merchandising, or category management.

  • Strong experience in vendor management, sourcing, and negotiations.

  • Experience in a retail, grocery, or commissary environment is considered an asset.

Compensation Details:

$114,220.00 - $152,293.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience and other factors.
