EDUCATION • Degree or equivalent work experience equally preferable CERTIFICATIONS WORK EXPERIENCE • Extensive experience managing institutional client relationships and complex transactions • Demonstrated success in originating and executing advisory and capital markets solutions • Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and financial institution business models FUNCTIONAL SKILLS • Extensive background in structuring and delivering financial solutions for institutional clients • Advanced knowledge of regulatory capital, liquidity, and compliance frameworks • Demonstrated strength in leading client strategy and cross-functional execution teams • Expertise in cross-border transactions and regulatory engagement FOUNDATIONAL SKILLS • Communicates effectively • Anticipates changing business needs, adjusts priorities accordingly, and allocates necessary resources and budget to achieve objectives • Equips the business to become an effective competitor in a highly dynamic landscape • Considers stakeholder needs and input as well as best practices and insights from industry trends when making strategic decisions • Is flexible, decisive, and serves as a trusted advisor to senior leaders within the organization • Demonstrates effective negotiation and influencing skills • Prioritizes and facilitates a culture of continuous improvement and systems thinking • Sets the tone for successful collaboration with other business units and corporate entities • Creates an environment that fosters communication, transparency, and collaboration • Cultivates innovation and values learning as a lifelong professional objective • Leads by example, engaging inclusively and with intent • Always acts with integrity RESPONSIBILITIES • Oversee development and management of relationships with financial services clients including banks, insurance companies, and asset managers • Drive expansion of the client base and lead origination of financing and advisory opportunities • Lead and manage product solutions for capital adequacy, liquidity management, and regulatory compliance requirements • Direct transaction execution including capital raising, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and structured finance • Ensure regulatory approval processes and documentation standards are met across all transactions • Engage with regulators and internal governance teams on strategic initiativesMitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is an equal opportunity employer.
