The Director of Px Business Operations leads the seamless alignment of our business operational processes, programs, projects, and integration of IT solutions (i.e. Ironclad, SFDC, Power BI) across the Px business to assure accuracy, discipline, compliance, and governance. This role is designed for a visionary leader with extensive domain expertise and broad cross-functional experience (i.e. Operations, Finance, Sales, Marketing, IT).
The ideal candidate will combine a operational mindset, strong analytical skills, with financial acumen, enabling them to interpret business drivers, assess the financial implications, and align resources effectively. This individual will anticipate challenges, minimize risk, ensure compliance, and deliver operational excellence, while seamlessly integrating processes, systems, and teams to drive sustainable, scalable business operations workflow and reporting reliability. You will serve as the key orchestrator of all initiatives that intertwine our process workflows, ensuring we operate with the utmost efficiency and effectiveness.
As a core partner to senior leadership, you will leverage your expertise to managing complex, cross-functional projects, Program, and IT solutions to assure reliable reporting and business operations identifying areas for improvement, you will deliver transformative outcomes that align with both the short-term and long-term goals of the organization. You will work closely with the VP of Strategy and Operations to enhances business performance, reporting accuracy, and scales operational capabilities.
Key Accountabilities
- Process Excellence & Optimization:
- Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and recommend scalable solutions that drive efficiency, productivity, and measurable impact.
- Lead process operational improvement initiatives, using data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement across all organizational functions.
- Develop and implement best practices for process design, reporting structure, governance, compliance, and optimization that align with Px goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership:
- Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Foster a culture of collaboration across departments, breaking down silos to ensure shared accountability for outcomes.
- Act as a trusted advisor to executives and operational leaders, offering strategic insights that inform decision-making through reliable reporting.
- Data-Reliability:
- Leverage advanced data analytics to measure success, identify trends, and recommend actionable strategies to optimize performance.
- Create reliable data sources to assess risks, track project milestones, to ensure desired outcomes are achieved.
- Develop reporting mechanisms to provide executive leadership with real-time insights into program performance.
- Governance & Compliance:
- Ensure that business operations, Px processes, and the IT tools we use adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance guidelines.
- Establish governance structures to ensure reporting efforts are executed in line with organizational standards.
- Assure the accuracy of the data and reporting for the Px business
- Program & Reporting Integration:
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams responsible for process platform integration projects, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
- Act as the primary point of contact for process optimization, working across IT, finance, operations, sales, marketing , contracting, and other departments to drive cohesive initiatives.
- Oversee the development and execution of strategic integration programs, ensuring seamless alignment between business processes, IT, and outputs.
- Innovation & Change Management:
- Champion innovative solutions and continuously assess emerging technologies and trends that could elevate operational efficiency.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Operations Management, Information Systems, or a related field; master’s degree or MBA strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in process management, program management, or platform integration within a large, fast paced, and matrixed organization.
- Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives that span cross-functional areas, ensuring alignment between strategic objectives and operational execution.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex, cross-functional projects involving platform integrations, process optimization, and enterprise transformation.
- Experience in data-driven decision-making, with the ability to interpret complex business drivers, analyze financial and operational impacts
- Strong understanding of business operations, compliance requirements, and technology ecosystems, with hands-on experience with working with enterprise-level systems (ERP, CRM, financial systems, etc.).
- Finance background strongly preferred, including familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and ROI measurement.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse teams toward common objectives.
