MedeAnalytics is seeking an experienced Director of Product Management to help inform and shape our Payer Value Analytics solutions. The person hired for this position will have a strong background in health plans, developing product requirements, conducting market research, client implementations, and in creating innovative features to help differentiate our product. This role has a growth opportunity to Sr. Director, Product Management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain an expert level of knowledge of the current industry needs and trends in healthcare economics, value based care and quality improvement.
  • Meet with clients to discuss roadmaps on a routine basis and to support sales.
  • Create business cases including financial models to support the development of the product or services.
  • Establish customer persona and market profiles.
  • Specifying market problems and requirements for current and future products or services by conducting market analysis, attending conferences, meeting with customers, prospects, and key internal resources.
  • Translate complex healthcare data ecosystems into cohesive product capabilities and solutions that drive customer value.
  • Partner with engineering and data science to design data pipelines, ingestion frameworks, and normalization logic aligned with interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7, APIs).
  • Identify and enable creative use cases of multi-source data (e.g., predictive modeling, member risk identification, operational intelligence).
  • Collaborate with commercial and marketing teams to shape go-to-market strategy, product positioning, and field enablement.
  • Support AI and machine learning integration — from concept to validation — ensuring explainability, compliance, and measurable outcomes.
  • Drive product training and internal education, equipping teams to articulate capabilities and insights effectively.
  • Stay ahead of regulatory, interoperability, and privacy standards impacting healthcare data (HIPAA, CMS, TEFCA, etc.).
  • Serve as the voice of data innovation, identifying emerging trends and partnerships that extend product value
  • Assist with the creation of impactful product presentations, reports, and dashboards.

Education, Experience, and Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience inside a healthcare delivery organization or serving them
  • Demonstrate knowledge of claims and claims processing
  • Agile / Scrum methodology experience
  • Experience defining/prioritizing detailed product requirements
  • Ability to think strategically and execute ruthlessly, e.g., being able to articulate a long-term product vision and then roll up your sleeves to get things done
  • Ability to facilitate cross-functional teams, schedules, and decisions
  • Ability to proactively monitor, analyze and resolve release dependencies, issues, and risks

 

Additional Information:

MedeAnalytics believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $160,000 USD. This position includes bonus potential of 12.5% and is part of our comprehensive total rewards program, which offers competitive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.. Please note that actual compensation for all roles may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, relevant work experience, professional achievements/qualifications, skill level, business need, location and will be finalized at the time of offer.
