Director, Product Management - Data Security

Who we seek:

We’re looking for a Director of Product Management, Security to join our Product Management team based in the heart of Tel Aviv. In this leadership role, you will own BigID’s Security offering end-to-end — from defining the vision to driving successful execution. This includes expanding our market leadership in securing all data types and applications, with a strategic focus on AI and GenAI deployments.

What you’ll do:

• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for BigID’s security offering, including critical areas like data loss prevention, data access governance, and securing data used in AI/ML and GenAI systems.
• Collaborate with customers, senior leadership, engineering, marketing, and customer success to shape an innovative, market-leading solution.
• Evangelize the security product offering, positioning BigID's capabilities across the data security domain, including our approach to AI data governance, both internally and externally.
• Support sales initiatives and represent the product in customer engagements and strategic conversations.
• Lead cross-functional execution by clearly communicating priorities to engineering, ensuring alignment around features, improvements, and customer-driven requirements.
• Engage closely with design partners and early adopters to validate market fit and ensure adoption.
• Assist in resolving customer escalations, partnering with support, sales, and success teams as needed.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.

What you’ll bring:

• 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a senior or director-level leadership role in cybersecurity, ideally data security.
• Proven track record of leading and scaling product teams — including direct management of Product Managers.
• Deep understanding of the enterprise security landscape, including key market trends, buyer personas, and competitive dynamics. Experience securing AI/ML data pipelines or GenAI applications is highly desirable.
• Strong background in developing product strategy, managing complex roadmaps, and working with cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, sales, and marketing.
• Demonstrated success in launching and growing enterprise-grade SaaS products that address data security challenges.
• Experience working with design partners, large enterprise customers, and navigating CISO-level conversations.
• Strong technical acumen; a BS in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
