At Warranty Solutions, the Director Product Management is responsible for the overall leadership and management of Amynta’s suite of warranty and insurance products for their auto warranty programs. This person will be passionate about continually assessing and improving current product solutions and innovating new products and services for each of the dynamic and fast-moving industries. His/her team works collaboratively with Sales, Underwriting, Reinsurance, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, IT and external partners to bring new insurance and warranty products to market, and to manage existing products in support of achieving desired profitability, penetration and customer satisfaction objectives.
  • Lead the Product Development Team across all of our programs to determine product scope, ad hoc request prioritization and product innovation.
  • Assist in developing and implementing a strategic roadmap to improve and differentiate our products to stay innovative and ahead of the market trends. This includes the entire portfolio management and distribution of products respective to customer needs.
  • Monitors markets and thoroughly understand competitive activity/data via consistent and regular reviews.  Provides proactive solutions and examine these through interactive dialogue with agents and our strategic partners.
  • Decides and implements best-in-class product management processes, policies and tools that ensure products are launched flawlessly, on time and on budget.
  • Works with internal and external stakeholders to drive product launch timelines that ensure customer needs are met.
  • Analyzes product sales and performance data to assess the on-going sales and health of all products.  Implements / recommends future product changes and enhancements.
  • Works with Underwriting to understand the profitability of the product and if rate actions are needed across a book of business or with individual “poor performing dealers”.
  • Assists in developing and delivering product content for training sessions.
  • Works with IT to have flexible rate charts available to be quickly implemented in the field.
  • Works with Compliance to make sure there never is a lapse in forms availability.
