What You'll Be Doing

Reporting to the Senior Director of Product and Platforms, the Director, Digital Product will be a key member of the Product Delivery Team,  leading teams of Product Owners providing strategic and tactical insights, and have accountability for Digital programs, projects & initiatives (including online banking, mobile/tablet, eCommerce & emerging platforms) that support our Digital strategy and partner projects across CIBC. You will work closely with Product, Marketing, ECRM and Digital Technology teams in a leadership capacity, and you will hold key stakeholder relationships for your assigned portfolio. You will also play a key role in helping to drive continuous improvement, Agility and lean delivery practices across our Digital delivery process. This role leads our Digital Onboarding and "Digital Presentment" strategy and execution on how important messages, offers and other marketing content is displayed to the clients, when why and how. This process also works on making the process efficient and nimbler for our teams to be able to run campaigns smoothly.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Strategic thinking – Take a holistic view to all tasks! You drive, manage and execute Digital projects and initiatives in alignment with CIBC and Digital Strategy through all Digital channels while supporting the business goals, objectives and KPIs. You have a keen ability to provide insights, recommendations and digital strategic direction based on CIBC’s vision, business needs and objectives (KPIs), industry trends, competitive landscape and metrics insights. You have the ability to think strategically about how you can mobilize and engage teams across the enterprise to deliver strategic change.
  • Leadership – Act both collaboratively and autonomously. You will contribute to the creation of the Digital strategy, Digital delivery operating model and solutioning for assigned portfolios. You will lead a team of product delivery people to effectively define the vision, business requirements and delivery roadmap for a portfolio of work. You will work with your peers in the Digital product delivery leadership team and partners from across the enterprise to ensure we are operating with world-class delivery efficiency, and driving Agile, lean and collaborative practices.
  • Business acumen and relationship building -  Forge strong relationships with CIBC’s various teams, by working with the business and internal partners, owning the end to end programs to deliver digital capabilities, with a strong understanding of the client needs and experiences across all channels . You are a great communicator, with the ability to synthesize complex analysis, findings and recommendations, then package key messages for senior executives. You have a proven ability to partner, build confidence and influence multiple stakeholders at all levels across the organization and you’re a self-starter, with the ability to deal with ambiguity and develop processes and governance from the ground up.
