The pay range is $135,000.00 - $243,000.00

A role with Strategic Planning and Operations will entail working with cross-functional partners to help create and manage the strategy portfolio for Store Operations. You’ll work to deliver plans designed to help Field Leaders and key HQ partners bring a modernized guest experience to life.  You’ll work across Store Operations and cross-functional partners in Stores and across HQ to understand priorities and delivery timelines, and use your talents and experience to apply company-established practices and processes to deliver work under general direction.  You will provide support for Store Operations strategy and planning processes.

As a Portfolio Manager, you will:

  • Work directly with an assigned senior leadership team to support with strategy development and portfolio management process; facilitate organizational alignment on assigned senior leader’s portfolio of projects and identify interdependencies between projects
  • Facilitate the annual and quarterly strategy process in partnership with senior leaders through tactics such as team offsite planning and facilitation, and drive the creation and implementation of individualized team routines connected to strategy development.
  • Consult on key business strategies, provide expertise on how to articulate a strategy and/or external benchmarking, and collaborate with planning teams across the organization to understand the enterprise priorities and when they deliver.
  • Engage with senior leaders to share insights of overall portfolio health, sharing insights on projects being worked on and implemented such as impacts, collisions, and critical interdependencies.
  • Lead identification, prioritization, and progress tracking for portfolio of enterprise strategic initiatives
  • Develop, leverage, and share portfolio and project management tools to deliver organization and planning across teams.  Work across teams to drive timing and alignment of strategic deliverables. 
  • Partner with business teams to drive accountability to portfolio performance, understand adjustments to projects (timing, resourcing, etc.), and help teams measure progress and key outcomes gained
  • Job duties may change at any time due to business needs. 

About You:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years of experience in consulting, portfolio management, or strategy development
  • Experience influencing key business partners, including senior leadership
  • Project and process management/ownership experience
  • Experience operating in an ambiguous and rapidly changing work environment
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction and in high intensity situations with tight deadlines
  • Ability to challenge upward and challenge the status quo, to resolve problems that are without clear precedent, and to influence and negotiate effectively
  • Experience building and maintaining cross-functional working relationships
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
