Salary range (but not limited to):
138,500 - 169,300Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. About the role
We're looking for a Director, Personal Lines to join our team in the Vancouver office!
What you'll do here:
Drive and achieve profitability, growth, productivity and operational goals through the development and execution of the annual strategic plan, including specific underwriting, pricing, service and expense plans
Lead, manage, and develop staff by providing ongoing coaching, guidance, and performance feedback and facilitating continuous development and succession planning
Be responsible for providing overall communication of and motivating staff to participate in goals, priorities and new directions
Collaborate with appropriate business units, develop, design and implement workflow/process improvements to accommodate business strategy and provide direction to regional operations on attaining service goals
Provide guidance on business issues, corporate policies and guidelines
Determine and/or establish key measures to monitor productivity and technical quality, identify opportunities for improvement and enhance essential business processes
Stay informed of regulatory issues and identify impact to our business
Be accountable for the overall staffing and leadership of the Personal Lines underwriting teams by determining staffing numbers and levels based on established regional management and corporate guidelines, including managing department budget
Liaise with the regional and divisional management team, underwriting managers, corporate underwriting, and claims management on technical and administrative issues
What you bring to the table:
Minimum 5 years of relevant management and leadership experience
Certified professional designation is a strong asset
Live and demonstrate Intact Leadership Success Factors
Knowledge of insurance business analysis and quality assurance practices
Proven management experience and ability to build, lead and develop teams
Proven ability to undertake and manage strategic projects and resources
Travel required and ability at managing remote teams.
Leadership, ability to motivate and influence different levels of management
Strategic vision and ability to explain and execute the vision
