What You’ll Do
The successful candidate will report to the Head of People International. You will play a critical role in enabling our mission by driving operational excellence across all facets of HR. You are passionate about building efficient, compliant, and scalable people processes that empower teams to thrive. The People Operations Director will oversee the full spectrum of People Operations across BridgeBio’s International footprint and play a pivotal role in the implementation and integration of Workday as our global HRIS platform.
This role will also be responsible for establishing and managing new legal entities across multiple countries, ensuring that BridgeBio’s growth is supported by a strong and compliant HR infrastructure. You will partner with senior leadership across the Global People team, Finance, and Legal to shape and execute our International operations strategy.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations Strategy & Leadership
- Lead the design and execution of BridgeBio’s HR operations strategy internationally, ensuring alignment with global People objectives
- Oversee HR administration, payroll, benefits, systems, compliance, and employee data management across all International entities
- Partner with senior leadership to create and operationalize new legal entities in additional Ex US jurisdictions, ensuring readiness from an HR, payroll, and compliance standpoint
- Build and mentor a high-performing People operations team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Serve as a trusted advisor to People and Finance leadership on People operational readiness, expansion planning, and process scalability
2. Workday Implementation & HR Technology
- In partnership with the US team, lead the integration and rollout of Workday across BridgeBio’s International operations, ensuring data accuracy, process alignment, and user adoption
- Collaborate with global HRIS and IT teams to configure, test, and deploy modules supporting core HR, payroll, benefits, and reporting
- Establish governance and data standards to ensure consistency, compliance, and scalability of HR systems
3. HR Administration & Compliance
- Provide strategic oversight for all employee lifecycle processes — onboarding, mobility, and offboarding — ensuring compliance with local labor laws and data privacy (GDPR)
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures aligned with company values, local regulations, and business goals
- Oversee immigration and work authorization processes
- Maintain consistent and compliant employee documentation across all jurisdictions
4. Payroll, Benefits, and Entity Operations
- Oversee payroll execution and governance across multiple countries, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
- Partner with Finance and external payroll providers to harmonize payroll processes across entities
- Develop and align benefits strategies with global Total Rewards, ensuring competitive and compliant offerings
- Manage audits and ensure robust internal controls around HR data, payroll, and compliance
5. Continuous Improvement & Analytics
- Use data and metrics to monitor HR operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive process optimization
- Partner with Global HR leadership to ensure consistency and scalability of People Operations processes
- Champion initiatives to enhance employee experience, operational efficiency, and organizational agility

Who You Are
- 12+ years of progressive People Operations leadership experience, with a proven track record of driving strategic HR transformation across multiple countries or regions
- Demonstrated success in designing, scaling, and leading People Operations structures in complex, high-growth, or multinational environments; ideally within the life sciences, biotech, or related sectors
- Extensive experience implementing or integrating global HRIS platforms, preferably Workday, including oversight of system design, data governance, and change management
- Proven capability in establishing and managing new legal entities, ensuring compliance with local labour laws, payroll, and benefits regulations
- Strong strategic and hands-on orientation; able to shape the long-term People operations vision while managing the details of execution and continuous improvement
- Experience leading or partnering closely with US-based HR Operations teams to ensure alignment of processes, policies, and governance across regions
- Demonstrated excellence in stakeholder management, cross-cultural communication, and influencing senior leadership in a global context
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to inform decisions and measure operational impact
