The Director, Operations & RGMX, HR plays a pivotal role in translating Europe OU and regional strategy into locally relevant, action oriented commercial, portfolio, and execution plans for the local market. This role carries shared accountability for country performance by shaping key choices, driving integrated system plans, and ensuring operational and RGMX excellence across the market. 

Operating as a networked leader, this role influences a wide ecosystem—bottler partners, marketing, commercial, finance, supply chain, S&I, and broader OU teams—to deliver strong, predictable performance and unlock sustainable revenue and margin growth. 

 

Scope 

 Geography: Croatia; collaboration across CCH region and Europe OU. 
 System: Works closely with the bottler and KO system partners. 
 Team: Part of a networked OU/market team including Operations, Commercial, Marketing, Finance, S&I, and bottler stakeholders. 

 

What You’ll Do for Us 

Support Country Strategy & Performance Execution 

• Contribute to the Croatia growth strategy, aligning OU/Cluster direction with market realities to enable actionable, locally relevant choices. 
 Participate in country performance management with shared accountability for volume, revenue, mix, transactions, share, and overall country results. 
• Provide insight driven recommendations on portfolio priorities, customer investments, channel focus, and resource allocation to support market performance. 
• Translate country strategy into integrated commercial and marketing plans in partnership with bottler and functional leads. 

Lead System Alignment & Orchestration 

• Act as a key integrator between the Company and bottling partner, fostering alignment on shared ambitions, commercial priorities, investment choices, and execution plans. 
• Influence cross functional decision making across Finance, Marketing, Categories, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Public Affairs to drive cohesive, end to end outcomes. 
• Build and maintain strong relationships with bottler leaders to enhance speed, transparency, and execution quality. 

Drive RGMX & Commercial Excellence 

 Identify market specific consumer, shopper, and customer opportunities that drive incremental volume, value, mix, and margin for the Croatian business. 
• Localize and activate European RGMX big bets, influencing system partners (bottler, Franchise GM, Marketing, Commercial, Finance) to embed these approaches successfully in market. 
• Ensure end to end RGMX strategy execution—from OBPPC design and pricing guardrails through to instore activation—aligning with Finance, Marketing, Bottler, and Cluster leadership. 
• Strengthen affordability and premiumization strategies, leveraging entry packs at key price points, value for money propositions, and occasion led premium formats. 
• Analyze performance of pack, price, and promo levers; develop mitigation or acceleration plans based on elasticity, mix, and competitive dynamics. 
• Support margin improvement in Modern Trade and key channels, collaborating with Commercial teams on promo architecture, trade spend efficiency, and category value creation. 
• Strengthen route to market and channel strategies to ensure coverage, availability, visibility, and pricing architecture are optimized for Croatia. 
• Partner with bottler teams to close execution gaps and unlock commercial opportunities across Modern Trade, Out of Home, and emerging channels. 
• Contribute to customer specific growth plans and category leadership with retail and customer teams. 

Steward the Portfolio & Brand Strategy 

• Support the development and local adaptation of brand and portfolio strategies, ensuring relevance across channels, consumer segments, and occasions. 
• Ensure in market execution of innovation, pack price architecture, and launches in ways that strengthen brand health and commercial outcomes. 
 Provide market insights to influence OU and Cluster decisions on innovation, category growth, and demand creation. 

Contribute to Business Planning & Performance Routines 

• Partner with S&I to embed RGMX ambitions into ABP and LRP, ensuring levers (pack, price, promo) are grounded in robust insights and market performance. 
 Participate in ABP/LRP cycles with bottler and OU teams, focusing routines on forward looking performance management—clear decisions, risks, opportunities, and next actions. 
 Leverage data, insights, and digital tools to improve visibility of market performance, pricing execution, and commercial outcomes. 

Represent the Company Internally & Externally 

• Represent Croatia perspectives in OU and network discussions, ensuring clear articulation of market dynamics, risks, and opportunities. 
• Engage externally with key stakeholders, customers, and market influencers as needed to support commercial and reputational objectives. 

Lead & Inspire in a Networked Environment 

 Operate as a networked leader, orchestrating and collaborating with teams across Marketing, Commercial, Finance, S&I, and bottler organizations. 
• Foster a culture of collaboration, speed, empowerment, and accountability across system partners. 
• Role model inclusive leadership, continuous improvement, and a growth mindset. 

 

Qualifications & Requirements 

 8+ years of experience in Operations, RGM, Commercial, Marketing, Strategy, or General Management roles. 
 Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively in complex, multi partner systems. 
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in portfolio strategy, customer engagement, execution, and performance management. 
 Strong system leadership capabilities—skilled at driving outcomes through influence rather than hierarchy. 
• Proven ability to connect strategy to execution with a bias for action and results. 
• Excellent communication, relationship building, and negotiation skills. 
• Technical foundation in OBPPC, segmentation, value to market, channel strategy, and instore execution; experience with elasticity, promo optimization, or trade spend efficiency is a plus. 
• High analytical capability with the ability to translate insights into decisions and actions. 
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, matrixed, networked environment. 

Travel: Periodic regional travel for routines, customer visits, and bottler engagements, with occasional broader travel.
