Technology & Operations' Business Operations team connects the core capabilities that power the operating engine behind whole portfolio investment management. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director - Operational Product Manager to join our Portfolio Services group. This role is pivotal in driving overall product strategy and leading cross-functional projects to successful completion. The ideal candidate will be deployed to various functional teams to facilitate transformation and ensure the seamless execution of key projects.
Key Responsibilities
Drive the overall product strategy to evolve the platform in response to internal and external client needs, thereby increasing revenue opportunities for the firm.
Partner with investment teams, users, technology leaders, and other stakeholders (e.g., sales, marketing, engineers) to shape the vision for the next version of the platform and define the overall deployment strategy.
Innovate, conceptualize, design, and pilot new capabilities to enhance the platform.
Establish processes and frameworks for continuous improvement of the platform to enhance stability, reliability, and performance.
Lead cross-functional projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
Deploy to different functional teams to support transformation initiatives and drive operational excellence.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to measure the success of product initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
You have…
A Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in product management, with a focus on complex operational and transformational projects within the investment cycle.
Familiarity with large regulatory efforts, such as T+1 and FINRA Rule 4210.
Experience working in the Aladdin investment management platform.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Our hybrid work model
BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all. Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
