This role leads and oversees complex operating model designs and transformations within JLL, generally for entire sub-segments or corporate functions.  Working with country and sub-segment board members to drive business change and influence senior stakeholders to enact change through exceptional communication skills. The role is critical in structuring holistic transformation programs while engaging wider JLL transformation capability to deliver on the ground.

The role will:

  • Have specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in operating model design and optimisation

  • Interpret internal or external business issues and recommends best practices

  • Work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations

  • Lead unit teams or projects

The successful candidate will combine the ability to lead teams and workstreams with excellent communication, data analysis and project management skills. The candidate needs a commercial mind-set, strong financial and business understanding and excellent listening and communication skills.  A logical, structured approach to problem solving and common sense are key.

Experience:

  • Strong professional experience and proven track record in diagnosing business challenges, and a collaborative, data-driven approach to designing solutions and delivering results

  • Working with senior stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions for process improvements including automation, technology enhancements, offshore migration and/or significant changes to location strategy

  • The ideal candidate will have experience of business transformation roles with a demonstrable track record of supporting operating model changes across diverse business environments.

  • Change management experience in support successful implementation of transformation programs

  • Understanding of / exposure to global real estate markets preferred but not essential

Responsibilities

  • Leading holistic operating model design diagnostics, identifying thematic improvement themes to support business case drafting and internal investment processes

  • Lead operating model assessments using data and analytics to identify improvement opportunities across people, process, technology, and governance dimensions.

  • Develop of target operating models aligned with client strategic objectives and informed by quantitative performance benchmarks.

  • Use JLL's operating model design methodologies and principles to form future-state people, process, technology, governance and location strategies that deliver on business and functional objectives

  • Facilitate business and functional leads in the delivery of the future-state operating model design

  • Engage with internal clients and build trusted relationships while identifying opportunities for service expansion.

Skills and capabilities:

  • Good understanding and expertise in opportunity assessments and Target Operating model design and delivery programs

  • Ability to understand and resolve business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services

  • Strong influencing capabilities to build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups and organizational boundaries

  • Emotional intelligence to navigate sensitive organizational changes and address stakeholder concerns

  • Translate complex operational data into actionable insights to drive operating model design decisions.

  • Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with stakeholders to influence and adopt a different point of view.

    Expert at communicating through presentations, narrative and story-telling

  • Build and establish data-driven performance metrics and measurement frameworks to evaluate operating model effectiveness.

  • Strong capability in using Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Power BI experience valued

  • Ability to leverage automation and AI to drive improved outcomes

  • Strong ability for benefit quantification, scenario modelling, and business case development. Financial acumen to assess P&L impacts, and navigate investment approval processes
