This leadership role oversees the strategy, growth, and performance of Associated Bank’s Private Banking business. You will guide a team focused on delivering comprehensive financial solutions to high‑net‑worth clients while driving deposit, loan, and fee‑income growth. The position offers the opportunity to shape a key business line, influence enterprise‑wide collaboration, and strengthen the bank’s presence in the high‑net‑worth markets.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the development and execution of the Private Banking business plan to drive asset growth, deepen client relationships, and expand market presence.

  • Drive new business through personal relationship development, Centers of Influence, and cross‑bank partnerships, fostering a strong client‑focused sales culture.

  • Oversee risk management activities, ensuring all client relationships and operations comply with credit policy, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.

  • Direct sales strategy, partnering with business line leaders and supporting Relationship Managers in client acquisition, retention, and complex financial solutions.

  • Guide product development to ensure competitive offerings and ensure teams are trained to deliver tailored solutions to high‑net‑worth clients.

  • Lead strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and incentive compensation design for the Private Banking business.

  • Represent the bank in community and industry activities to strengthen brand visibility and build referral networks.

Education & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting (or equivalent experience).

  • 7+ years in banking, commercial lending, financial planning, or investments with a proven track record of asset growth.

  • 7+ years working with high‑net‑worth clients and deep knowledge of banking products and business development.

  • Ability to meet S.A.F.E. Act registration requirements.

  • Reliable transportation and ability to drive as needed.

Preferred

  • CFP or CTFA certification.

  • Experience leading a high‑performing Private Banking or Wealth Management team.

$170,380.00 - $292,080.00 per year
