The Director of Philanthropy is responsible for advancing the comprehensive fundraising program, with a strategic focus on the Neurosciences service line for CPMC. This role prioritizes the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of individual donors, with particular emphasis on securing principal and major gifts, planned gifts, and annual contributions in support of neurosciences initiatives and broader organizational priorities.Job Description:
EDUCATION
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Bachelor's: Business Administration, Healthcare or related field
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
12 years of recent relevant experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Comprehensive knowledge of all fundraising approaches, with special expertise and understanding of capital campaigns, principal and major gifts, and planned giving.
Demonstrated familiarity with cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding individual and institutional prospects and donors.
Experience developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including the Board of Directors, Chief Executive Officers (CEOs), Corporate Partners, and Physician Leaders.
Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and expertise in strategic planning, hospital fundraising, donor acquisition, and donor and stakeholder engagement.
Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey concepts and communicate information or issues in a manner that is readily understood by management and employees.
Demonstrates credible leadership presence, with the ability to respond to questions with logic, clarity, calmness, and authority; and the ability to motivate and engage others.
Delegates effectively, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with changing business priorities.

Pay Range is $157,830.40 to $236,745.60 / annual salaryThe compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
