Salary Range: $169001 - $197200 Per Year

Job Summary: You will serve as a DIRECTOR OF PACIFIC FLEET SYNTHETIC TRAINING in the PACIFIC FLEET of TACTICAL TRAINING GROUP PACIFIC.

Major Duties:

  • You will directly manage, supervise, motivate, and mentor personnel to obtain effective and efficient systems integration in order to conduct exercise scenarios directly supporting operations and training.
  • You will perform all phases of the planning, analysis, formulation, justification, presentation, execution, and review of multi-year budget and program.
  • You will interpret technical and policy directives to formulate long-term strategies and implement these strategies by providing objectives and assignments to division heads.
  • You will negotiate on issues related to the development and integration of Synthetic Training in support of Pacific Fleet, Navy, Joint, and International Distributed Training.
  • You will directly manage five separate contract vehicles by developing statements of work and measuring performance.
  • You will be responsible for Responsible for Navy Continuous Training Environment infrastructure and Synthetic Training capabilities in five separate Fleet Concentration Areas.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: directing a training program by developing, planning, budgeting and executing shipboard training systems (i.e. Navy's Distributed Training Architectures, Fleet Training Continuum, Navy's Program Objective Memorandum) for Tactical Training Group Pacific ashore and afloat certification exercises.
