The Director of Men’s Wrestling Operations supports the daily operations, logistics, and administrative functions of the Iowa State University men’s wrestling program. This role collaborates closely with all wrestling coaches, athletics administration, compliance office, and campus partners to insure efficient program management, adherence to NCAA, conference, and institutional policies, and an exceptional student‑athlete experience.
Responsibilities may include
This position requires strong organizational, decision‑making, multitasking, and written and verbal communication skills. The role requires flexibility and quick-thinking, and the ability to work non‑traditional hours and travel with the team.
You will be working with a small staff to help bring the vision of its leaders to reality. You also will work with a variety of constituents to solve problems and help them get the information they need.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
Required Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.
Directly related experience in sport operations.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in wrestling operations within a collegiate or other elite-level wrestling organization.
Experience organizing team travel and executing logistics at away competitions.
Experience planning and executing special team events.
Experience processing business expenses and supporting budget management.
